philosophy of technology

     For as long as humanity has been around, technology has gone along side with it by making a great impact on each and every individual. It has quickly and easily helped us get from one place to another, and with the upbringing of the internet, not only has it made education much more accessible but it has also made learning for all grade levels much easier. One way that the invention of the internet has made education more accessible is by allowing everyone to communicate with one another. 

    Two ways that emerged after the invention of the internet was the use of E-mail and through video call. The use of E-mail has allowed teachers who are teaching in Kinder through 12th grade and professors stay connected with their students and their parents. Video calling has also been helpful allowing teachers and students stay connected, especially during the pandemic. on March of 2020, people where asked to stay home to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 Virus.  As a result of that teachers continued educating their students through video conferencing applications such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams. 

    Other than making education more accessible the internet has also made learning easier. and fun for children that are in elementary school. Such resources that have made learning easier are websites like YouTube, which may offer multiple channels that offer educational content using visuals and giving the content in a format that can relate to the students. Not only has the internet given us websites like YouTube to give students a more visual understanding of a specific subject, it also offers websites that allows children to have fun while learning by implementing video games based on a specific subject
